Horrible, pushy, codescending
Horrible manners, very pushy to pull teeth out, rude, does not listen to the plan i as the patient want to do. When we had a dispute over what my dental plan timeline was he became quite rude and angry and defensive and when he was performing putting in a filling he was quite rude and rough.Has no bedside manners and doesn't even converse with his assistant except to demand tools.Seems he wants to make monies as he has a contract with OHP patients and i don't think he cares for poorer folks.Can't recommend him to anyone.

Great Dentist - Replaced my silver fillings
A couple of years ago I had my silver fillings replaced due to a cracked tooth. I had to find a different dentist due to scheduling issues (they are super busy) and my PPO. I recently went to a different dentist after two years and he mentioned that Dr Polan did a great job on the replacement fillings. Dr Polan does quality work. It is too bad I had to find a different dentist.

Dr. Polan at Broadway Advantage Dental is awesome! He has done multiple fillings for me as well as repaired a cusp on a molar. Today he put my permanent crown on and it fits great! The hygienist was amazing, I was having awful anxiety and thought I was going to pass out. She was very sweet and calmed me down. Anyway, it’s hard to find a skilled dentist in Portland so I want to give him some praise:)

I have never in my life experienced such a rude and condescending person. Seriously should not ever be allowed to be near patients. This man made dental surgery the most traumatic and horrible experience. DO NOT LET THIS MAN NEAR YOUR MOUTH
