Dr. Alan Allgood, DMD

I'm a child of the 50's with aparently soft teeth and grew up with going to the dentist at least once a month for several years. The thing I remember is that it hurt, even the novacain which he called pickle Juice. All that said I hated dentists, but I broke a tooth and settled on Dr. Allgood who was marvelous. My last dentist in Mobile fired me as a patient. the Tech gave me some gas and cleaned my teeth, Then this young Dr. comes in cracks a few jokes giges me some Novacain (didn"t even feel it going in great technique) Smoothe out the tooth and took the impressions for the bridge and I was done. I've felt more pain pricking my finger! I don't ever want any other dentist ever messing around in my mouth. I'd tell about another time that he and his staff went way beyond expectations, so far that I couldnt believe the did it, but if I did and someone else didn' t get the same service they might be mad suffice it to say way beyound expectations.

Dr. Allgood and his staff are so kind and gentle. I’m a big chicken when comes to dentist and they eased my fears and we’re so helpful and gentle. Highly recommend Dr. Allgood and his staff.

The dental hygienist that I had work on me was absolutely fantastic. She was so caring and gentle but got the job done perfectly. I spoke to Dr Allgood and he explained whatever I needed to have done in the future and I appreciate that because I don’t want to lose my teeth.

The staff makes you feel right at home. Over the years, that feeling turns into the pleasure of coming home to visit family. They genuinely care about you and your well being (not just your mouth). Hospitality goes a long way, especially if you're ever nervous about going to the dentist or if you need some major work done. Dr.Allgood does an amazing job. For the first time in my life I didn't feel a thing when it came to getting a filling. He's 3 for 3 so far. They also have "sugar cookie" flavored polish and it is FIRE! Where most people dread going to the dentist, I ALWAYS look forward to it.

Great Dr and staff! It's like seeing family every 6 months. Best of all, they aren't dishonest like i have found so many dentists to be (at least in FL, where I used to live).
