Dr. Alexander Volchonok, DMD

Dr. Volchonok is very knowledgeable and experienced with dental implant rejection issues, including state of the art IgG blood testing for personal biocompatibility assessment. He thinks thoroughly and outside the box, presenting multiple treatment options. If you want science-based care, he will provide it.

This Peridontist has lack of transparency and greedy. He is over servicing and will charge you big money for it. His ego is bigger than his knowledge and skills. He uses mental tactics to convince you to have the procedures done. Read between the lines and don’t fall for this! Better yet if you go there, just get the Treatment Plan and compare it with a 2nd opinion. And also stay away from Dr. Michelle - she is anxious and will make you feel the same way too! She has heavy hands and lack of skills. She is banking on her brother’s practice that’s why she is able to operate on high paying people. There’s no way in the world you and I should let her continue on rendering us her dental work. And How would you like a dentist with lack of skills and experience perform dental procedures on you and she keep asking her brother what to do? And what is this fast turnover of staff?

Excellent. I had a very bad infection underneath two implants from receding gum. He did the surgery. I was in good hands. He thoroughly explained everything before and after. I highly recommend him. The staff was also very attentive and helpful. Greatly appreciated.

Total disappointment. He placed my implant into an angled position so my bridge does not parallel with my another implant. After I posted my review on google he called my cell. I was literally accused by him several times that I am unethical because I did not call him first before posting my review. He denied angled implant even though it was testified by another specialist.

I had a ceramic implant placed by Dr. volchonok. Despite me being a difficult case, Dr. V went out of his way to answer my questions in-person, over email, and checked up on me over phone the night after the surgery. Dr. V is not only a renowned dental surgeon but a genuinely great guy that cares about his patients. Services are not cheap but fair (especially since they have to pay rent on park ave in NYC).
