Very poor excuse for an Endodontist
Went in to have a root canal and Dr Meier after taking an x-ray says he thinks I have a broken root but there was no way to confirm it. So he charges me $275 dollars for this information And sends me on my way. Also tells me I need to go to an oral surgeon and have it pulled. This tooth had a bridge over it and actually Dr Meier didn't want to deal with it is the truth. I needed the root canal so that I could have the bridge reattached once the tooth was repaired. I went to an oral surgeon and had the tooth extracted and was told there was absolutely nothing wrong with the root structure and that the root canal should have been done. But Dr Meier pocketed $275 just for telling me pretty much he didn't want to do it. Moral to the story is there are some endodontists that are caring and are out there to help their patients and then there are Dr Miers of this world.

I was seen 2 days after seeing my dentist. I was taken in right away and the doctor saw me right after x-rays were taken. We had a consultation and it was determined I did need a root canal. He was very professional, explaining everything. He was mindful of my comfort and easily put me at ease. The procedure was done with no pain and I went to work. Took some Aleve for 2 days and have not had any pain and only minimal discomfort which was from the numbing shot in my jaw. I was able to chew normally after less than 2 days. I highly recommend Dr. Meier and his staff.

I see Dr. Meier in Jasper Indiana. Unfortunately, I've had 3 root canals in the past 2 years. Not something I would wish on anyone. However, Dr. Meier explains things going along and is very kind. I also appreciate his staff: the ease of getting an appointment, efficiency. Also his dental technicians are very efficient also.

Dr. Meier and Heather receive the award for first procedure I've had (in my 30 years of extensive dental work) with no tears. He and his staff were friendly, compassionate and thorough. Not once did I feel any pain. They also took the time to check-in with me about any pain during the procedure (there was none), offer words of encouragement, and put extra vaseline on my lips to ensure my comfort. For any future patient with anxiety or nerves about getting a root canal done, please be assured that it is not a big deal and that Dr. Meier + team will take excellent care of you! I can't thank them enough =:-)
