Bad Orthodontic Outcome
Dr Steven Heier recommended my son get orthodontic work to correct misaligned upper teeth. We followed his advice to be told, AFTER orthodontic work was done by Dr Alvin Smith, my son's jawbone structure was too shallow to have a bridge installed. Even implants could not be done without massive surgery & no one could guarantee surgery would be successful. Multiple specialists recommended a pop-on prosthetic, which cosmetically resolved the problem. So why did Smith accept Heier's advice for orthodontry & surgery? Guessing it was the most expensive solution rather than the most efficient. We are so regretful & disappointed that we followed this advice. Down $4,000 because of that.
