Dr. Aminda Osorio-Modrell, DDS

Doctor Aminda Modrell has been good to me. She has much experience, as do her staff members. Dr. Modrell took possession of the entire dental practice, Columbia 100 Dental, after Dr. Rhonda Eskinazi departed. To me, it was a smooth transition. Bonnie, Niki, Skina, and the others have provided strong dental care and consultation for me every visit!

Painful. Everything was fine until I let Dr Modrell redo an old filling .... it was painful from start to finish and I'll need another dentist to try to remedy the situation as I still have sensitivity. Dr Modrell doesn't do complex procedures in any event, so be prepared to be referred if you need anything out of the ordinary. Her office proceeded to charge hundreds of dollars on top of insurance. When I complained to the office staff, they were way too polished in dealing with this sort of complaint, like it happens all the time. UCSF dental school lost a bit of credibility with me... I feel they train dentists to treat patients like cattle, no accountability to the patient, any dentist within the practice can treat any patient, and referrals / dentist schedule changes are all too frequent.

She is a very caring and thorough doctor. I needed ALOT of work done when I first started with Dr. Modrell...but now I have nice looking teeth and feel much better about my oral care. The office has very friendly hygienists and staff...that have been there for a long time (a good work environment)

My experience with Dr. Modrell has consistently been first rate. She is an empathetic professional that is conservative in her approach and absolutely thorough in her treatment protocol.
