From the moment I walked into Worcester Dental, my anxiety was laid to rest when I was warmly greeted by Gina and the wonderful admin staff. This warm welcome was extended into my appointment when I was introduced to Dr.Capaldo, who simply had the most wonderful bedside manner and lighthearted personality. Dr. Capaldo’s thoroughness is truly unmatched. Let him take you to “dentistry school” and he will teach you the ins and outs of what your procedure entails. Throughout your entire evaluation / procedure, Dr.Capaldo constantly checks in with you, gives you a heads up of what’s to come next, shares a story or two that’ll often make you chuckle but most importantly builds the trust and transparency that is so appreciated in a doctor and patient relationship. In his book, Under the Dome, Stephen King had a character who was a dentist, a very greedy dentist. BTW, Dome had definitive political overtones. Dr. Capaldo is such a dentist. I went to Dr. Capaldo when I cracked an implant crown at the fault of a food manufacturer. The food manufacturer told me to have my crown examined by a dentist and they sent me a form for him to complete. I called Dr. Capaldo‘s office prior to scheduling the appointment and was told that there would be no problem for him to complete the form. I expected that I would have him restore the cracked crown, a nice chunk of change for his pocket. He spent all of 5 minutes with me. Took an unnecessary x-ray (it was, after all, an implant crown) and charged me all of $192.00. After several weeks passed, I learned that he never sent the form as promised and his office staff yelled at me. I have since seen another dentist who took x-rays or extracted a tooth for all of $99 and spent far more than 5 minutes with me.
