I had an appointment in mid-December, but it was cancelled without notification or explanation - this office lacks the courtesy to call, leave a voicemail, or email. Either Dr. Picone or his office caught Covid & were trying to cover it up because they opened 4 days later but were fully books. As a result, I couldn't use my insurance due to new insurance taking effect in the new year.

Superb. Knowledgeable, kind, and quick to solve. I had pain eating and 3 other dentists couldn't locate the problem, Dr. Picone located it on my first visit (which was for a check-up and cleaning). Solved. I had a guest who had tooth pain and was flying to Australia. Dr. Picone caught an abscess that could've popped due to the pressure. Brilliant! I was a Concierge for 12 years in the city and worked with many dentists. Only Dr. Picone gets RAVES from my guests. Brilliant!

Dr. Picone is the best. I’ve been seeing him for more than 15 years (and I have problematic teeth - it’s genetic - so I make multiple visits a year). He is thorough, caring, technically skilled, and genuinely concerned for the comfort and well-being of his patients. His team is great too: they called to check on me when I was sick (even though it wasn’t even a dental problem). I can’t recommend him enough. I hope he never retires!

I've been a patient of Dr Picone for over 20 yrs. I was recently informed he no longer takes my Insurance Emblem because they don't pay enough. I paid out of pocket $175 for cleaning because I felt stuck without a dentist. Very disappointed. I have to find new doctor.

I went to Dr Picone for 20 years. Recently my insurance changed to Emblem. On my last visit he made it very clear that Emblem doesn't pay him enough. Sure enough he tried to get me to pay bogus copays to him. I called my insurance company who in turn contacted him and called him out on this. A week later I got a letter in the mail saying that our "doctor patient relationship wasn't working anymore" and to find another dentist. That's how a patient of 20 years gets treated. Good riddance to a di
