Dr. Angella Chin-Thompson, DMD

Dr. Chin is very knowledgeable and kind. She put my anxiety at ease. As my dentist, she is transparent yet easy to understand regarding the condition of my teeth as well as what/when procedures were needed. She's the only DMD at the new CHI West Kendall location, so, getting an appointment with her can come with month waits however that's not her fault (read: CHI is a community health center so a ton of people use them). I kind of wish she had a private practice so accessing her would be easier but, its neither here nor there.

HORRIBLE, Dr. Chin is irresponsible, RUDE and NOT CLEAR ENOUGH with her instructions. In October she ordered me to make an appointment at Jackson hospital for an extraction, but unfortunately the appt was for March, resulting a 5 month wait. A few days before the appt, I learned that Jackson doesn't accept Aetna (my health insurance) and had to pay $110. Wondering how can this be, I realized that she did not send the referral to MCNA. This lead me to cancel the appointment after a 5 month wait.
