Dr. Asif Sharif, DDS

Office takes forever to file insurance claims, and they just keep stringing people along. They are quick to demand money up front, but slow to provide services and billing. Dentist seems more concerned about quickly getting people in and out and less concerned about the patient’s wellbeing or comfort.

I'm writing this review to save others time, precious teeth, and money. If your dentist says 'It's your fault that your fillings come out' after a few months, PLEASE test out a different dentist!! Sadly, my wife had been seeing Dr. Asif for a few years before we met. She informed me she was afraid to eat popcorn, nuts, or almost anything hard foods. The issue was her fillings kept coming out!! She would spend several hundreds dollars for overpriced 'experimental' fillings with no warranty. They would pop out with-in months and she would have to return to get them fixed. She did not know this is NOT normal. She tried another dentist who fixed several fillings, gave her a 2 year warranty, and encouraged her to eat all the crunchy foods she loves. That was 3 years ago and those fillings are doing great!

Great experience! Dr. Sharif and his staff are just plain wonderful! I have a lot of anxiety and past trauma about dentists and doctors, and Dr. Sharif and his dental hygienists did everything possible to put me at ease with their good humor, delicate touch and latest technology. Highly recommend.

Extremely traumatizing experience. Never explained anything to me throughout a root canal. Did not acknowledge my pain and was rude and belittling. Gave me a crown that was yellow and too big for the space.

Charges extremely high and automatically quotes extra services and fees before sees patient. Does not explain possible outcome/side effects of procedure performed - just keeps having staff put papers in your face to sign without giving you a chance to review. When adds extra service has staff immediately ask for payment. Makes you feel coerced/manipulated into having something done telling you if he doesn't do it you will be coming back to have it done in the future. These are just highlighted things - there are many other complaints but not allowed enough space. My visit was a disaster from check in to check out in all aspects and I was only there about 45 minutes.

It was not a good experience. Please do your homework before going to Dr Sharif. He is very rough and not a compassionate person at all.

Everyone at this practice was so kind. Everything was explained to me. I haven't been to a dentist for years and they made me feel comfortable. And I would recommend them to anyone.
