This was a first time visit. After X-rays, the office told my husband our insurance only had an $80 co-pay option for a crown, but it was low quality and would likely be discolored in comparison. They said the only other option was a $500 co-pay. He opted for higher quality and they offered immediate treatment, which he accepted. When he got home, I looked up our policy and there were many other high quality options, with the most expensive being a $195 co-pay. When I read the disclosures they had him sign, none involved risk. All 5 involved acknowledgement of accepting treatment more costly than insured options. When I attempted to question this, they refused to respond to messages and then hung up the phone when I called. Beware!
