Dr. Billy Metcalf, DDS

I previously made a review for Dr. Metcaff, who indeed did give a good experience for one of my children in June 2023 (5 stars were given) However another child of mine was recently seen and not only did Dr. Metcaff and his staff stress my child and myself out, they have made this financially difficult, and have been verbally condescending and not followed through with their part of fixing a loan which later needed adjusted. My child was said to need 7 root canals and crowns, which a second opinion determined was totally unnecessary. To add to that they pawned off this exorbitant amount though a credit company. 4 months later they have refused to help fix the issue and the staff keeps telling me to fix it through different means. Amanda with the billing office repeatedly called me “sweetheart” while “helping” me, which is known to be insulting. Truly it has been a theft of service in my opinion.

I would give him a zero if I could. He is the reason I’m scared to go to the dentist.

Charged us for sealants not covered by insurance without our knowledge. The rudest front office secretary I have ever spoken to...nothing more than glorified scam artists acting as a dentist.

I appreciate that Dr. Metcalf takes the time to answer any questions or concerns that I have, and the kindness, and patience that his staff shows.
