Dr. Boris Stein, DMD

I have seen Dr. Stein twice so far, in another location, for the first 2 of three parts of dental implant surgery. The first time pain was not too bad; second time, I am miserable. I have no idea if this reflects on his skills or not. What I object to is that both times, he sent me home with handwritten notes about using OTC pain relief, but no other info. Even the prescription he wrote didn't include full instructions (how long do you rinse? do you take antibiotics with food?) At the end of sitting 2 hours in the chair, trying to hold it together with extreme pain creeping in, receving a bunch of quick oral instructions is not enough. Trying to remember what he said about things to avoid (food, movement, etc) is frustrating. That seems so unprofessional. I caught myself twice using a straw; had I seen written directions about this not being good, I would have known. One remembers what one sees, better than what one hears (esp. under stress).
