Nice office. Poor business practices. I was surprised with a bill because they didn't tell me that my insurance PLAN was out of network--despite confirming when I initially made the appointment that they did take my insurance. This is something they should have and could have verified before my appointment. No attempt was made to make the situation right.

Dr Rouse filled a molar of mine that he claimed the xrays showed a cavity, I said I didn't see the cavity on the xray, He stated a layman wouldn't be able to see it. As he was drilling the so called cavity he noticed the tooth next to it had a crack in the old filling, so he not only had to fill the old cracked filling, he also had to fill a perfectly good tooth. What made matters worse was while my mouth was open and he was working on the fillings he informed me he doesn't use amalgam fillings anymore, just composite. I told him I didn't think my insurance would cover the composite fillings to which he said I should tell my insurance to get in the 21st century. As it would happen, my insurance wouldn't cover the fillings, but they would have covered the amalgam fillings. So the entire $400 bill was on me. I went in to see Dr Rouse to discuss maybe helping me out with the bill, like maybe splitting the cost since the one tooth didn't even have a cavity. He wouldn't budge an inch!!
