Dr. Brian Trava, DMD

I called a total of 24 offices on Saturday morning and there were no Endodonist available to do an emergency root canal from NYC to Rockland. I called Dr. Trava’s office and was told they were about to close. Within minutes, I received a call back from his dental assistant and was informed that Dr. Travis would like to speak with me. I was shocked because I wasn’t an existing patient. He assessed my symptoms and immediately apologized for not being available to perform the emergency root canal. He offered to send in a prescription to alleviate my pain until my dentist office opens on Monday. I was so grateful and appreciative of his genuine empathy for a total stranger. Thank you Dr. Trava for caring!

In the Spring of 2023, I had a root canal on tooth 4 and it never healed. For 8 months, I had pain. I ultimately lost the tooth and had to spend a ANOTHER great sum of money on an implant. Tried to reach Dr Trava 3 times, no call back. Sent 2 emails, no response. When I called to inquire about the lack of call back or response, I was told by one of the other Dr’s that Dr Trava is very busy w patients! What am I ? I’m extremely disappointed with this practice and really didn’t want to post this review.

I had a bad experience with Dr Trava. Root canal he did went bad a year later. Waste of money

My dentist could not find anything wrong with my tooth. X rays showed no decay. Dr Trava was recommended to me and he and is very professional staff figured that I had an abscess. He drained it and relieved the pressure on the tooth. It was amazing to see all the equipment that was available to him from a 360 degree X-ray machine to a microscope used when examining my tooth. He treats you in a calming way that makes you feel comfortable. Thank you Dr Trava and his team.

Dr. Trava was fantastic. He is very in tune with his patients and does everything to make them comfortable. I have total trust in this man. I experienced no pain, he did what another Endodontist could not and I will never go anywhere else. Already scheduled my next root canal with him. The BEST.

I just finished root canal work with Dr. Trava. There was very little wait time at 2 different offices. He is very concerned about your comfort and explains everything in detail. Great “ bedside manner!”

I paid for a filling that fell out completely inside 2 days! I called & had me go in the next morning. He comes into the room & scolded me saying “if it falls out again DON’T COME BACK HERE!” I am out of work due to covid19 & trying to buy some time to get work done that I’ll eventually need that will be very costly! I felt he did a lousy job so I WOULD have to get the expensive work done so to fix his poorly done filling I already paid for was a waste of his time. Very nasty! I Felt I should share this experience bcuz it was very hurtful!

Dr.Trava and assistant are truly professional and an excellent team.His demeanor is very calming and his technique is exceptional.Very honest and compassionate.Relates to his patient and their individual situation.

Dr. Trava and his staff are outstanding. Being a patient who has high anxiety, this doctor is the best. During my procedure he and his assistant Tamika were always reassuring. The procedure went perfectly. I only wish all medical personnel were as kind and compassionate as Dr. Trava. He is an outstanding professional. I would recommend him with 10 stars to anyone needing endodontic care.

Dr. Trava is extremely kind, competent, skilled, and diligent - an Expert: His work is excellent - He's a perfectionist craftsman with extensive medical/dental knowledge and experience. Root canals are no fun, but he makes them as painless as possible. He's very honest and fair, tells you directly what is involved, what it will cost, and works with you. Dr. Trava is a genuine friendly, caring person, and it shows. He will call you back promptly even after-hours if you have an emergency. A+
