Great dentist. I regret leaving to go elsewhere.
I saw Dr. Givan for a couple of years after my dentist of 15 years suddenly retired. I needed a LOT of work. At one point, I thought things weren't moving as fast as I thought they should, and I impatiently went elsewhere without explanation. I now realize that Dr. Givan really thinks things through before he does any work at all. He wants to be sure that every possible outcome is being considered, for the well-being and health of each patient. I'm so sorry I left. I let myself be rushed by a 'hot shot' dentist. It's been 6 or 7 years and all the work I've had done has fallen apart and I've faced a lot of pain and multiple infections that could affect my heart (I've had a heart attack since then.) I wish Dr. Givan would consider me as a patient again, but his page says he's not accepting new patients. And I'd be too ashamed to call and ask him, anyway. He is a great dentist and a great human. You can really trust him.

Great communication. Received a reminder call the day before my appointment. Dr. Givens and his staff took extra care making sure I was comfortable. They often describe what the examination reveals and what the next procedure is being considered.
