Routine Check Up Frustration
I scheduled my 6 month check up months ago after my last check up. When I arrived for the check upI was told by the hygienist I’d have two cavities filled that day. That was news to me, I thought I was there for a cleaning. Then mid-visit the dentist decided it would be three fillings, then a few minutes later he decided he didn’t have time to see me at all, not even for the routine check-up. I don’t know if he even looked at my X-rays that day. The disorganization along with a hygienist who was NOT gentle and couldn’t explain clearly why I needed fillings right away made for a lousy experience and I decided to find a new office. Never in my life have I been sent home from a dentist appointment without seeing the actual dentist whatsoever. The whole thing came across as unprofessional.

Attending ERAU and really needed to see a dentist as I lost a filling. Dr Valladares was excellent - explained everything, painless. Better than my dentist at home. So glad they could fit me in right away. Prompt appointment. Definitely my dentist from now on.

After an initially meeting we discussed that I did not want dentures or more root canals and just wanted to save the remaining teeth. That my life expectancy was not great due to other conditions and it made no sense to drop thousands on dentures which is what he wanted to sell me. Aspen Dental is supposed to be affordable Dentistry', that was a bad joke. 450 for my cleaning, tried to go back for cavaties and he charged me 66. before he saw me to tell me he wouldnt treat me. $$Dentures$$$
