I am one of those people who had a lot of really awful experiences with dentists early in life and now hates (ok, is terrified about) going to the dentist. Dr. Cook and his staff listened to me on my first visit and have done everything possible to make me comfortable - from frequent check-ins during my appointment to see how I'm doing, to letting me hold the suction, to not using the polisher on my teeth. I won't go so far as to say that I look forward to my 6-month checkups, but at least I don't dread them any longer.
