Dr. Charles Perkins, DMD

My grandson went to him every 6 months from 3 years old until 5 years old. We were always told that he had no cavities. When he turned 5yo they would not allow anyone to go back with him. As a result his anxiety went through the roof and he vomited. Dental assistant tries to tell me it was the flavor of the product she used…it was the same as previous visits. I did tell the receptionist that in the future I would be going back with him on future visits. She responded that Dr. Perkins would not allow that so I informed her that we would find another dentist. Well, the next dentist informed us (just 6 months later) that grandson has not one but 8 cavities!! How does that happen in just 6 months?! Now he needs pulpotomies and caps under sedation. I am livid to say the least!!

My children have seen him in Jackson before he came to Oxford we love him he is the best I have found for my children I recamend him to everyone

No no no, they usually don't let the parents go back with the patient, but I as his grandmother did. He was hollering so loudly at on the children, it frightened my grandson. Terrible bedside manner

Horrible dentist! I was told my child had to have 5 crowns and be put to sleep. (after he looked at us about 1 second) Absolutely not the case! My daughter was terrified of him! Horrible bedside manners!
