Dr. Christopher Paulson, DDS

Dr. Paulson, by far, is the most comprehensive, caring and extremely smart dentist I’ve ever known! He should have MD after his name. He’s always been spot on about dental conditions that are mistakenly taken for other medical issues. I have referred many people to him and they are very grateful. His office staff is extraordinary! They are very friendly and always greet you with a smile when you walk into the office. All the hygienists are are exceptional and knowledgeable. I always look forward to my dental appointments!

I gave this practice a try after a friend recommended it to me. After several visits to Dr. Paulson’s office, it seems that Dr. Paulson seems to be running a "turn and burn" practice with lots of patients in the office at the same time, but only one dentist, Dr. Paulson, to see them. Dr. Paulson is impatient and tries to rush procedures. When I had a molar that needed a filling, I told him my teeth are difficult to numb, i.e., require a highly skilled dentist to numb them quickly or take a while for the Novocain to set in. Dr. Paulson gave me 20-30 mins to numb and started drilling away. He proceeded to use more Novocain 3 more times before he could numb my tooth and do the dental filling work. Between each shot, Dr. Paulson tried to drill. I ended up with extreme anxiety about going to the dentist and found someone else. Afterwards, not only was my tooth number, but also my face was numb for 4 hours. I'm NOT okay with impatient dentists, and dentists inflicting too much pain.
