My son had a accident that knocked his permanent front tooth out at 3:30 am on a Friday morning before a Holiday weekend. I called the office and there was an emergency number that was answered and Dr. Verhagen meet us at the office and set his tooth back into place.

My 8 yr old told them that the last time it had hurt her, so they told her this time it would NOT hurt. Then they proceeded to jab her in the mouth with a needle, repeatedly, without allowing the numbing gel on a q tip time enough to work properly! HAVE YOU EVER BEEN JABBED IN THE MOUTH WITH A NEEDLE OVER AND OVER AGAIN?? WOULD YOU WANT YOUR CHILD TO FEEL THAT PAIN? Not only that, but throughout the procedure she felt pain several times. And that was with the addition of "laughing gas". I was with her, what would they have done to her if I hadnt been there ? Now she has had a horrible experience for zero reason. Pain free dentistry exists, just not at this dentist, not if you have medicaid, anyway. **PARENTS BEWARE** DO NOT LET ANYONE HURT YOUR CHILD!

The office was very pushy about doing my children's work under general anesthesia. Risks and Surgery would not discussed in detail and no other options were given. When I decided to cancel the surgery the staff was very rude. Yes it was 3 days prior, but I was very taken back by that as these are my young children they wanted to put to sleep. For something that isn't necessarily medically necessary. I had already spent numerous nights sick about the decision I felt pressured into. I work in healthcare and nothing about the whole experience felt professional. I don't often write reviews, but I don't agree with healthcare workers being rude especially when children are involved.

Love Connie Verhagen and her staff. Very friendly and warm environment. My kids love it there too.
