Dr. David Akkara, DMD

Had fillings done when by Dr. Akkara when I lived in Orlando and only a few years after moving and seeing another dentist, I was told that I need to get them all redone because they were not filled properly and had spaces between the filling and my tooth. I had to get a crown on one of the teeth that had an improper filling and am getting 3 others fillings redone. My friend who also had fillings done with Dr. Akkara was also told that she needs to have hers redone because they were bad fillings. (Multiple dentists have given the feedback on the fillings being done poorly, not just one)I don’t like writing negative reviews and Dr. Akkara had a great demeanor and was pleasant to work with, but there’s too much dental work that my friend and I now have to repay for and have more extensive procedures done because the work wasn’t done properly the first time. I hope things are better now with the work in this office.

Dr. Akkara is one of the few dentists that only suggests work that needs to be done. His prices are fair and his hygienists and staff are professional.

Great dentist, very professional and friendly. Makes your visit pleasant. I trust his judgment on necessary procedures. Office staff is awesome also. Dental hygienist Glacy is wonderful. Best cleanings I have ever had. Very thorough and gentle.

Best cleaning I've ever had in my 25 years going to a dentist two times a year. Can't wait to go back in August, very professional and friendly staff. The dental hygienist was amazing and dentist was very present and great.
