Dr. David Forbes, DDS

I had braces twice with him, expanders and other other orthodontic work. Not only did his staff tell me that I had a big nose, and what was wrong with it during a visit where Dr. Forbes yelled at me in front of other patients why I didn’t come in sooner (my mom tried but it was the soonest available). He degraded my teeth constantly (I had cleft lip/palate) and the number of times his cruel words made to cry in his office was countless. I am an adult now and I have been to therapy due to his temper, treatment of me and my results. He wanted to put yellow marks on my teeth the last day I saw him to get my braces off so I could match the “decayed ones.” He often spoke unkindly of the maxillary facial surgeon who had to work with him during one of my surgeries and I had anxiety every time I went to see him. I have dental anxiety to this day because of how he treated me while I was going through surgeries to fix my disabilities. I would never bring my child here.

I have Quads and Dr Forbes, has been taking great care of them, I am truly blessed and thankful, for the friendly staff, great music and his ability to make each of my children feel individual. Thank you, Dr Forbes, honest and straightforward, knows when you’ve been brushing and knows when you are wearing rubber bands ??????.

Not even a patient of his, but he met us at his office on a SUNDAY to examine my son's tooth after suffering an orthodontic emergency after a bike crash. My own ortho was not answering pages, but Dr Forbes took the time to meet us at the office, examine the tooth, re-position it back behind the wire, call an endodontist for a consult, and apply a covering to an exposed nerve. When I ask him what I owed he said "no charge". AMAZING! Highly recommend!

Dr Forbes took care of all 3 of my kids. 2 had braces, one didn't need them. He's very caring and makes everyone comfortable. I liked that he was conservative in his approach. My kids have beautiful straight teeth now. I highly recommend him and his office.
