Dr. David Lovit, DMD

Staff & hygiene assistants are fine, but David Lovit is probably the worst healthcare provider I’ve ever met. He has no bed side manner, rushes & always seems moody. I’ve dealt with him three different times now, and he’s never consistent with feedback, care, or follow up. He’s always adamant about me getting a sleep study; he’ll go on & on about that. The first visit, he said I had a cavity & he’ll keep an eye on it. Never mentioned it again. Third time, he didn’t even take time to evaluate my teeth, basically belittled me & said if it’s not cavities that will get you, it will be gum diseases & told me to get a gum graft. Which by the way, he never recommended the first time? He does not take time to make you feel comfortable & assure you or support the health of your teeth. Instead, he’s arrogant, rude & shames you. His staff even seems afraid of him, and he seems annoyed of them if they don’t have the x-rays displayed, etc. His staff knows he’s unprofessional & rude.

I have been going to Dr. Lovit for a number of years. He is a highly skilled dentist, who has taken great care of my teeth. I’ve had a few fillings replaced and a couple crowns placed as well. Recently I had to go in after chipping a tooth, and they were able to get me in quickly on an emergency basis. Dr. Lovit fixed the chip and it wasn’t even expensive. I can highly recommend Dr. Lovit. And on my last visits Chastity and Austin took great care of me, too.

Dr. Lovit and the staff at this office are great. I had a crown come off while eating last night, and Dr. Lovit’s office got me in to see him by 2 pm today. They fixed my crown within half an hour. Really professional and caring people.

I only needed my implant #31 that I swallowed replace. Dr. David Lovit had my returning several times and the implant is still not place correctly. He charged me $1430 for an implant when it is pain when I bite, dark discoloration, chip, and causing pain all around the gum. The he sent me a letter to me today saying I owe him $70 more for follow up. I went back because the implant was hurting and preventing me from sleeping. The staff and Dr. Lovit are very unprofessional. The office is dirty and smells. I will never go back there again. I will go back to VA and see if I can get professional and trained dentist to fix my implant #31.

Dr. Lovit is a highly skilled professional who has created several crowns for me and has given me excellent dental care. He is polite, not too chatty and seems to have very good communication skills with his assistants. Office staff is professional. Hygienists do good work, which is the most important thing for me, but often talk way too much about their personal lives and family problems.

my entire family and I have been a military family patients of Dr Lovit's for the past 15 years. Several years back he performed a crown, that I am now having problems with, he refuses to even admit he did the work. Dr Lovit and his disrespectful staff are only interested in your money. Not your oral health, you or your family. follow my lead and find you another dentist.
