Dr. David Palmieri, DMD

An amazing dentist (endodontist)! I needed an evaluation for a root canal. He proceeded with it just enough to consult a dentist about a crown. To my surprise, he called in the evening to check if I was OK. It has never happened to me before with any dentist. But even apart from that, I felt my treatment/procedure were excellent.

I have had 5 other root canals done in my lifetime and Dr. Palmieri was the best dr by far!! He listened carefully to my concerns and came up with a plan to work thru those issues. No other dentist/endontist took the time to work through issues I have with anesthesia and come up with a plan. The treatment was quick and painless with minimal pain afterward. He did a follow up call that evening to see how I was. Who does that anymore? He is a true gem and I highly recommend him.

I had a root canal by his office which now I need to get extracted. I went back to talk to Dr. Palmieri, he review the 3D xray that I took at his office and confirm that there was a mistake made on my root canal after the first time when I was told there was no issues with the root canal.

I literally just left Dominion Endodontics in Alexandria where Dr. David Palmieri performed a root canal on me. I have had significant dental work done before, so I'm no stranger to dental offices. In this case, I feel compelled to write a strong positive review because I found Dr. Palmieri to be an excellent endodontist! He's clearly highly competent and professional and I'm very satisfied with the work he did; and , like my general dentist, Dr. Kathleen Mullaney, I would highly recommend him to anyone requiring his specialty. I would also like to add that I was impressed by his assistant, Staci, who also was knowledgeable, professional and pleasant!! The only potentially negative consideration is, and it's because he is in demand, is that he works out of three different offices and there may be a wait in scheduling--but it's worth it, so try!

Dr. Palmieri has performed two root canals on me and I would strongly recommend him. He works efficiently, is attentive to patient comfort, and follows through once the procedure is finished. I found him appropriately communicative: enough to establish good patient/doctor rapport but not trying to turn a visit to the dentist into a social occasion.
