I went in on 9-5-23 to get an estimate on a dental implant and was told part of the root of the existing tooth that was extracted still remains and he would have to remove the partial root as well as getting a bone implant to fill the space that partial root was taking up. That would cost $1200 and I would be paying cash since I have no dental insurance. I then contacted the previous oral surgeon who for a $1000 extracted the tooth, with an E mail requesting a partial refund explaining that. I received a certified letter back stating that there was no root remaining and infact the bone grew back sufficiently and that I didn’t require a bone implant either. That same day I received an email from Dr Rosania stating that the he could not continue to move forward doing business with me. I of course would not have wanted at that point to have any further contact nor business dealings with him. I strongly recommend if you don’t have insurance to absolutely get all feedback in writing.

Dr. Rosania's office called to cancel my cleaning due to no hygienist. They suggested I call my general dentist for the cleaning which I promptly did. His office called me back and said that Dr. Rosania would clean my teeth and I called my general dentist again to cancel the appointment. On the day of my appointment the front desk girl could not find me in the schedule. She stated that she was new and that lots of appointments had to be changed recently. I told her I would go back to my general dentist but she said she wanted to go back and ask Dr. Rosania before I left. I told her not to bother him but she insisted. Dr. Rosania came out of the office. His face was red and he had no scrubs, mask or shoes on (just socks). He YELLED I could leave the practice and didn't I understand he was under a lot of stress. I was shocked and the staff looked mortified. I sent him an email asking for an apology for his unprofessional behavior and I would put this behind me. No apology :(

I have been a patient of Dr. David Rosania for about a year for both periodontal and implant work. The results to date have been excellent (I'm just in the final stages of the implant). His practice is top notch in every respect. The staff if friendly and knowledgeable. Insurance matters are always handled promptly and correctly.
