I visited Dr Mortenson because he was the ONLY dentist at the time that accepted my insurance in the area. After a checkup he scheduled for a filling on the one cavity that he found. He told me I should have my wisdom teeth removed and I agreed to that even though they were not bothering me. At my appointment he found something like 7 other cavities and filled them. He then said he didn't have time to fill the one cavity I had needed filled. He removed my wisdom teeth instead. He wanted to re-schedule me to fill the one cavity that required work. Prior to his finding all those cavities (that he missed in my checkup) I hadn't had 7 cavities in my entire life. I haven't had any in the years since. I was so disgusted that I ignored my one cavity, feeling very betrayed. Bad choice, it resulted in a root canal. My ONE cavity I needed filled cost me $1700 at the end of this sad story.

Wow! I was in Dr. Mortenson office yesterday for a broken tooth. I was greeted at the front desk by three very pleasant and helpful ladies. I had no idea what was about to happen. Dr. Mortenson and Cameo determined a root canal was the way to fix the problem. This is and hopefully my first and last one I’m 62 years old. I was amazed, truly amazed. I did not feel any pain at all! From the first procedures to the last no pain. No pain through the night or so far today! Thank you Cameo and Dr. M!

Dr. Mortenson is a compassionate and genuinely good person, not to mention a highly skilled, and experienced professional dentist. He worked magic on my smile. He treats you more like family or a friend rather than just a patient and so does the office staff. People like Dr. Mortenson and staff at Bozeman Dental Associates are hard to find. I highly recommend him to you as I have already recommended him to my family.
