He gave me false information. I had two orthodontic consults and knew the price was too good to be true. He let me know that orthodontists cannot fix midline issues, overbite issues, or anything to do with your jaw, which is completely false. He also let me know that I did not have to go to the dentist before putting braces on, and that my teeth looked fine, and maybe just needed a little cleaning, which I knew was false because I hadn't been to the dentist in several years. Sure enough, I went to the dentist and I had nine cavities, and needed a deep cleaning, which would have been very difficult with braces on. My new orthodontist ensured I had all my dental work done, and let me know that she could fix my overbite and midline issues. She also let me know I had a jaw problem, and said fixing my bite was crucial in order to prevent further damage. She showed me my xrays and described the my treatment plan to me. Doctor and staff were also not wearing medical grade masks, only cloth.
