She has absolutely the sweetest, calmest overall best bedside manner you can ask for. Kind of like having a yoga instructor talking to you every step of the way. Everyone in the office is very welcoming and the energy is really great. They make a really frightening procedure (root canal for me) so tolerable. Thank you!

I was in a lot of pain over on a Sunday evening and my doctor recommended I see Dr. Toskos. I immediately called the emergency number. Spoke with the covering doctor, Dr. DiBernardo, who eased my fears and helped me manage the pain. I was seen first thing the next morning. She was so gentle and kind and explained my condition to me throughly. I was an emotional wreak. She really put me at ease. Her nurse was very sweet, held my hand through the procedure. It was my first root canal, but she made the experience easy and afterwards I felt so, so, so much better. I never knew there was such a thing as a root canal specialist, but thank heavens there is!!

I paid $1,200.00 in full for my root canal. I then sent the dental receipt to my dental insurance companies- Delta Dental and Physicians Mutual. Delta Dental stated that they paid Smithtown Endodontics $80.00 because they are in-network with them, and Physicians Mutual stated that they paid Smithtown Endodontics $11.00 because they are in-network with them. Furthermore, Physicians Mutual stated that the root canal should have only cost me $785.00 in total because of the negotiated rates that Smithtown Endodontics has with them. Since I have already paid Smithtown Endodontics $1,200.00 in full, they should reimburse me the $80.00 that Delta Dental has also paid them for my visit, and the $11.00 that Physicians Mutual has also paid them for my visit. Furthermore, since Physicians Mutual stated that I only should have only been charged $785.00, Smithtown Endodontics should reimburse me the additional $415.00 that I paid. Therefore, I should be reimbursed in the amount of $506.00.

Dr Toskos is the best.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Toskos and her team. I was referred to her by my dentist for an emergency root canal. She was able to squeeze me in immediately. I have severe anxiety related to the dentist but she was so calming and put me at ease. She was very understanding and non judgemental. She explained everything to me and made me feel comfortable. Her dental assistant is amazing too, so caring and helpful. Highly recommend!

Dr. Toskos is amazing. I went to her for my first ever root canal at 33 weeks pregnant. She was very understanding and knowledgeable about my situation, caring for both me and the baby. She explained everything in great detail and did an amazing job. Pain free the next day! I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat.

They're all so friendly, respectful, welcoming and caring in every single moment you're in the office. Dr. Toskos takes time to patiently and completely explain what's going on, what needs to be done (and why), and what she's doing during the procedure and makes sure you're feeling the maximum comfort and ease. If you're referred to Dr. Toskos (for procedures such as root canal -like I was) don't worry about anything, like pain, discomfort!

I was recommended to Dr. Toskos by my dentist. I am petrified of dental work and she really put me at ease, explaining the procedure each step of the way, and checking up on me in between treatments. There was a possibility I would need additional work than originally anticipated, and Dr. Toskos did her best to avoid it (successfully!), which was a pleasant surprise given how easy it is to bill for extra dental work. She is knowledgeable, and has amazing bedside manner. Highly recommend.

She is compassionate, friendly, and efficient at the same time. She did an amazing job on my root canal, (the x-rays of the before & after proved it beyond a doubt). I can't be happier that she saved my tooth and saved the crown that I already had.
