I found Dr. Chory to be condescending and patronizing when I visited his office at approximately 28 weeks pregnant while suffering from hyperemesis gravidarum. It appeared that Dr. Chory felt that he had considerable knowledge of pregnant women since his wife is an OB/GYN. It also appeared that he was confounded that I could be suffering from persistent vomiting so far into my pregnancy. He showed no empathy for my suffering and only ridiculed me. I know my teeth aren't perfect, but I have not had a cavity since I was four years old. Oh, and don't worry, he also made a snide comment on the fact that I was delivering my baby at a hospital that wasn't Magee, where his wife works. His ego was unfortunate. In addition, his hygienist made what I found to be an unnecessary comment that "we would never practice such horrible dental procedures today" about the fact that I had four adult teeth pulled for orthodontic reasons due to an impressively narrow mouth in 2000.

Dr. Chory is pleasant and professional, while also being very personable. He provides excellent care and takes the time to answer any questions. He follows up on concerns or questions from previous appointments.
