My first visit was excellent and Dr. Cheppa helped me with some long-term issues. He also gave me a ton of info that was super helpful right away! I’m going to work with him and will update as I go!

I’ve had some bad dentist visits but this was on a different level. Been trying to get a new denture-partial for months now and he was utterly unhelpful. His own staff had to force him to give me info on what’s next after our initial visit. During which he joked about my missing teeth at my expense. Then left me with the impression he’d start work on my new partial but when I call back a few weeks later it turns out he hasn’t started on any of it. At this point I told him the time constraints for getting a new partial (had a job interview) and he laughed at me then proceeded to act like he would be doing me a favor by trying to expedite this as much as possible. I immediately decided to try another dentist. When you see someone’s own staff have to hand-hold them into being a doctor then you know something’s wrong. Utterly unhelpful and willfully incompetent. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else unless you want to deal with someone’s deeply misplaced ego.

He knows what he can do (a lot) and when to call in someone else.

Dr. Cheppa is the best and most trusted dentist. As his patient for ten years, he has saved and utterly transformed my smile. He does the most beautiful restorative work. He is knowledgeable, honest, caring, and empathetic. Not only does he create a healthy and beautiful smile, he ensures that those smiles laugh too! His humor always puts a nervous patient like myself at ease.I entrust Dr. Cheppa with the dental care of my entire family to include my four children. He is simply the very best at what he does! We moved to the other side of town a few years ago, and we wouldn’t think of going to any other dentist. He is unparalleled at his craft. Additionally, his staff are always kind, compassionate, and courteous too.

Dr. Cheppa performed exceptional and professional work on my bridge. It looks fantastic! He is also very personable and has a great sense of humor.

Dr. Cheppa is fine as a person, I’m sure but as a dentist… Some off color jokes and silliness can be fun but most days he’s surly, annoyed and avoids getting any actual work done. I had a couple “cleanings” from him and his staff and they simply did not get done. He pokes around and looks for cavities for a few seconds while yanking your face around and poof, you’re done! I just went to a new dentist after a couple years with Cheppa and they said the could tell my teeth hadn’t been professionally cleaned or polished in quite some time. If I weren’t an obsessive brushed and flosser, there’s no way I wouldn’t be dealing with a bunch of cavities. Another young patient of his I know, went to him for advice on what to do after 4 teeth had been extracted. They were told by him to just get a partial denture and call it a day. No mention of the possibility of implants or anything other than having a young person wear a denture for the rest of their life. Lazy. If I had to sun it up, Lazy.

Dr. Cheppa and his staff are amazing! He truly cares about your oral health and makes sure you are well taken care of at each visit. One of the best in the city!
