Dr. Edward Owens, DMD

Initial visit for a problem went very well. (5*) Dr. Owens seemed to really understand how to treat people with dental phobia. Next visit for a cleaning was okay. (3*) Dental assistant was terrific as was the person that cleaned my teeth. Dr. Owen surprised me at the end of my cleaning by telling me, after full x-rays and exam were clear, that there was a small cavity that needed filling. Not thrilled, but giving him the benefit of the doubt as the first visit was terrific. Filling visit (-10*) didn't happen. Spent a couple weeks wondering if anything would be prescribed prior to help with the anxiety. Less then 24 hours before the appt. scheduled at 2 pm I am phoning for the third time asking if anything is going to be prescribed to help with the anxiety and fear already building. This entire office was made aware of what is now a full on phobia, but Tammy seemed to think my anxiety was something to be met with arguments and condescension. Better training MIGHT help.

Dr. Owens is the best and most modern. He has saved my teeth and I have been going to him for 10 years. Will not go to any other dentist. He is a perfectionist and can fix anything Of dental issues. Dr. Owen explains all procedures and further problems, if any. Staff is the nicest and always willing to help patients.

Dr Owens is the best dentist in the Williamsburg/JamesCityCty. area. He is very thorough, professional, and courteous. He and his staff made me feel 100% comfortable and at ease. I will no longer dread going to the dentist.
