I just left the office Dr. Efthimios Kalavrouziotis on 1/14/2020 and was told that I can not be seen by the doctor if I don't provide my SS#. In all my years of attending a slew of different doctor offices, I've never been told that if I don't provide my SS#, the doctor will not see me. Well the receptionist was quite adamant, very rude and made it quite clear that I would not be seen by the doctor unless I provided SS#. What's worst, the doctor never came out to the front to diffuse the situation and I just couldn't believe how she was talking to me and treating me in that office. When I left, I instantly jumped right on the call with my insurance company to file a complaint, and they stated, that's really weird, because they don't need my SS# whatsoever to see me, that's the entire purpose of the Insurance card and ID# at this point the issue has been escalated to upper management. I'm in aww, because, I've never been treated that way before and it made me very uncomfortable.
