HOW has she not been fired!!!!
The absolute worst experience of my life as a mother. This “doctor” (who will tell you over and over how educated she is and say things like “did YOU go to dental school?” when you simply question her) made my child absolutely hysterical, yelled at them, and when I tried to go into the room to comfort my child she yelled “GET HER OUT OF HERE!” As though I were disorderly. Most importantly, I held off on her recommendation to pull my son’s teeth because I felt she wasn’t being honest. Turns out none of them needed to be pulled! Thank goodness we got a second opinion. Please, please fire this horrible dentist.

How is she employed???
Like something out of a horror movie. She should NOT be allowed around children. When my son had to have his tooth pulled, she kept YELLING at him to “stop crying or this is going to hurt a lot worse” he was HYSTERICAL. Truly one of the worst moments as a mother feeling so helpless with my child in the care of someone as vile as this woman. On top of that, arguably more importantly, she kept trying to convince me that my son needed his front tooth (!!!!) removed because of an an “abcess.” I told her he had bumped his mouth at school on the monkey bars and it wasn’t an abscess. She yelled at me “Did YOU graduate dental school?!” To which I responded no, but I’m not going to let to let you pull his tooth for no reason. Turns out it wasn’t an abscess. Thank GOD I stood up to her or my child would have a fake front tooth his entire life for no reason!

Worst Medical Experience
Our third appointment with Dr. Dionisopoulos was the straw that broke the camal's back. She berated my son who is afraid of needled by threating to keep him longer if he did not quite down and stop crying. Dr. instructed her assistant to close the door. At one point she got up and left and I could hear another child crying when she came back. No-one should be treated like this in any setting. We have since left the practice and are much happier with a new Dr. who does not yell or threaten children.

Dr. Fotini is wonderful. Always made my kids feel special and cared for. They never experienced "dentist fear" because of her warm manner and individualized attention. Would recommend to anyone!

Dr. Fotini is one the most kind-hearted, passionate, and educated dentists in Rhode Island! As an individual who comes from a family of dentists; I have very high standards. Dr. Fotini surpassed all of them, most notably her ability to create positive relationships with her patients and their families. She takes the time to build rapport with everyone involved in the child's dental experience. Furthermore, each procedure is explained clearly, especially to those who may experience anxiety when entering a dental practice. You can tell that Dr. Fotini truly cares about her patients, especially when she walks into the room with her bright smile!

The Doctor has a very poor bedside manner. She is rude, hostile and seems to dislike children. My daughter was in to have her first filling, so she was already nervous. The Doctor gave her a needle and caused her to spit up blood. When I attempted to call this to the Doctor's attention she became angry and took this anger out on my daughter to become more upset. My daughter tried to hide from her out of fear. She then demanded to know how old she was so as to intimidate her.

So fortunate to have found Dr Fotoni. Met for the first time at her office on a Sunday after my daughter fell and lost 2 teeth. As a health care provider myself, I value her expertise and feel very confident in her judgement and skill...... very professional ,wonderful dentist!
