I had made the appt weeks prior. I told the office staff, I recently had x-rays and did not want them repeated. I was told I could forward them from my previous dentist. I did this about 2 weeks prior to my appt. When I arrived the dentist said she could not use them, that I needed a whole new set! I asked if insurance would cover this she said, no insurance covers 100%. I'm a registred nurse, ALL my insurances have covered preventative 100%! I refused new xrays and asked for my cleaning telling the dentist that I had a very sick family member that needed my attention. I could not reschedule. She refused saying, "we are not on the same page." As a medical professional, I have never treated my clients in such a cold manner. Thankfully, I found another dentist who was understanding, took the xrays and made an immediate appt to clean my teeth.
