He took away the pain.
I had a complicated root canal in a difficult to reach upper tooth. It was uncomfortable. But Dr. Hutchens, his assistant and staff were all very compotent and professional. And the pain is gone.

Awful Experience. The numbing process was extremely painful. He injected my gums very fast and deep 7 times, each injection right after the other, so there was no time for any numbing to take effect. Each injection sent excruciating pain to the entire right side of my mouth. I was in so much pain, pulling my head back and clenching my fists, but he didn't care and rushed through the process. I am positive he knew how much pain I was feeling. The experience was very dehumanizing. I had to take pain pills for 3 days, and my gums and teeth on the right side of my mouth were sore for 2 weeks after. I have had a lot of dental work done including root canals, so I know there will be some pain involved. However, most of the pain can me minimized if the dentist checked in with the patient and took a bit of time, especially during the numbing process which is key to a successful treatment. Beware if you are considering him
