Dr. Henry Vu, DDS

No, I wouldn't recommend him to anyone. I had a terrible experience there. He told me I had a tooth that needed to come out and be replaced with an implant. I trusted him and had the tooth extracted and he put in the implant on the same day. I now have an infection in that implant which is oozing puss into my mouth. I will probably have to have it extracted, and I've already paid $2600 for it. Don't go to him.

The absolute worst experience I’ve ever had with a dentist. I went in for an extraction and a couple fillings. My tooth was pulled and then my gum was packed with bone graft, after I explained I didn’t want this, it was still done and I was charged for it. Later that night the numbing agent went away and I felt the most excruciating pain I’ve ever felt. My face swoll up. I called Dr Henry Vu and he told me to come in for pain meds. A few days later, the extraction site got infected and the bone graft fell out completely. I had to go back in so he could cut the infection out. I asked for a refund for the bone graft that I didn’t want in the first place, I never received one and that’s fine. I recently found out that he drilled a small hole in my tooth for a future cavity site. One of the same ones he did a filling on. This guy can’t be licensed, if he is, the school he went to needs to be completely shut down. He has no clue what he is doing. Beware!!! Find a different Dentist.

I would be very leary of a dentist that seems to buy dental implant parts and/or dental supplies on eBay. At least that what it looks like he does. I can't personally confirm this assumption, but I would definitely investigate it. Check out the user name "guitarguy999" on eBay for previous purchases and what the sellers he has purchased from have for sale. This is Dr. Henry Vu's eBay account. He will probably close this account if people start looking.
