Dr. Hope Taylor, DDS

I had come into Dr. Hope's office to prepare a tooth for a crown. As Dr. Hope prepared my tooth for the temporary crown, a staff member informed Dr. Hope that the crown on the adjacent tooth had movement as well. Within a few minutes, Dr. Hope had removed the lose crown and noted that due to age and decay it couldn't be salvaged. She began a plan to repair both teeth for temporary crowns on the same visit. I was very pleased with the way she and her staff worked efficiently to allow me to get both teeth prepared for crowns instead of additional appointments. Thanks to an attentive staff member, there were no future surprises.

OK, We switched insurance carriers, the dentist we have used for years was not on our new plan, so I found Dr Taylor and made an appointment for the routine cleaning that was covered by our insurance. The girl who was to clean my teeth told me that they could not do the routine cleaning and that I needed a deep cleaning that cost $800 that the insurance would not pay. Dr Taylor also looked and told me I had a cavity that would cost $150 to fill. I said I would wait and I made an appointment with our previous dentist. His tech did the routine cleaning and the dentist said I had no cavities. I seems that Dr Taylor's office is trying to run up the bill for unneeded procedures. I would not recommend them to anyone.

Unknowledgeable staff

We found Dr. Taylor while searching for a new dentist after our last one did a horrible job with a filling for my husband. We actually weren't going for a new filling that day, just for a cleaning and assessment. When she went to examine my husband's teeth, she saw the filling was coming out almost exposing the nerve! She stayed late with us to repair that filling and it's been fine for almost 2 years. We are grateful we found Dr. Taylor. She's very caring.

I went to Dr. Taylor for a cleaning and she found 5 cavities. She filled 2 and couldn't get my bottom numb to fill the other 3. I went to a different doctor for a second opinion to find out that I in fact didn't have any other cavities she drilled a little bit on one of my bottom teeth and now I have an infection in that tooth. Also she is extremely rough and while filling my top teeth she nearly broke my permanent retainer. I wouldn't let this women clean my dogs teeth she is awful.

I had tooth crown done and tech dropped crown throat and I had to sit up quickly and cough it up. At same visit tech was shaky and dropped crown on floor. Tech had to fit crown 5-6 times before it was right.
