Dr. Howard Mendelsohn, DDS

I've used this office for several years without issues. Since May 2024 I've asked for help with notifications from my insurance about no authorization. They kept telling me not to worry about it. I'd get a couple a month. Here it is November. My insurance asked if I wanted to file a grievance and I did. They told me today, I didn't need pre authorization. So why did they file for one? They called me this morning to ask why I filed a complaint. They were rude and condescending. I'm 73 and maybe as a senior I need a little more patience on their part. Stacey wouldn't let me get a word in. I'll never return and never recommend them. Not once did they even offer to call my insurance while I was there to reassure me. I retired from.a major corporation and if I ever spoke to a customer like they did, I'd be walked out the door.

When I tell you these people are absolutely nice people they are just that. I went in for a cleaning and to get fillings I was so nervous walking through those doors until I set in the chair. They talked me through the procedure and I have anxiety really bad but they did a great job at helping me remove the anxiety that I had. They were kind, patient, and understanding. My experience was awesome. I will definitely recommend them for cleanings and other procedures. Great job you guys and once again thank you for being so patient with me.

I am on Medicaid and was treated like a homeless dreg of society, given false information and was refused a teeth cleaning!!! I went to another dentist and none of the claims by Dr. Mendelsohn were true per x-rays. I am also filing a grievance with Medicaid.

I used to be a very nervous patient, since I had awful experiences with dentists in the past. Dr. Mendelsohn was so reassuring. His patience and demeanor put me at ease. I could tell he cared and my oral health has never been better. I will not go anywhere else.
