Dr. Hyo Kim, DMD

Went to Kim Dental Care to get a partial denture. It did not fit properly causing one of the metal clasps to fall out into my mouth. Fortunately I did not swallow it as it could have caused serious problems as it was quite sharp! I took it back to Dr. Kim who took a new impression and sent both (I assume) the new impression and the partial. Upon returning to get what I expected to be a properly fitting partial, I found out that it was the same partial and they merely reattached the clasp making them fit worse than before! They were extremely crooked and looked and felt horrible. However he did not think that anything was wrong. He said that he would contact the lab. When I called back, I was informed that he was just going to refund the cost leaving me to wait for the refund to get to my insurance company before I could even find a new dentist as it maxed out my coverage. It has been three weeks and they still haven't issued the refund Leaving me with missing teeth!

Horrible. I went in for a routine teeth cleaning. Politely declined xrays as I usually do. The technician pushed the xrays on me and laughed when I shared that a loved one had been diagnosed with brain tumors recently. She asked me to rinse with a solution, then immediately kicked me out of the office without cleaning my teeth. I can’t believe people would be so desperate for insurance money. they refused to hand me my medical file on my way out, but I eventually took it. I bet they would have tried to bill my insurance for the mouth wash! This place is a racket and they should all be ashamed of themselves.

I have been a patient of Dr Kim's for nearly a decade. He is gentle and efficient, his work is excellent and he will see his patients on an emergency or urgent basis. Highly recommended

If you value your tooth, you should look elsewhere for dental health. Keep in mind this dentist offers rewards for patients to write in reviews. I've maxed out my benefits 3 years in a row ($3k+), and the 3 main teeth worked on are in even worse condition. One tooth needed a simple filling redone. My wife if it bothers me to call as food will snag. Sure enough within a day this happens and it comes out. This led to a crown, root canal, new crown, then gap in tooth, tooth next to it filling...

Another successful visit to Dr. Kim this morning. His staff is always friendly. I needed a filling which he did his usual excellent job. I highly recommend this office for all your dental needs. I have been going to Dr. Kim since he started his practice in Morrow. Deb Jewett

My family just moved to Ohio a couple of months ago. So glad to have found Dr. Kim for the whole family. He was extremely professional, courteous, and pleasant. He went over the diagnosis with me and explained the procedure in a way that was easy to understand and I walked out completely satisfied with the procedure performed by Dr. Kim. His staff were pleasant and helpful as well. Strongly recommend Dr.Kim.

I definitely would not recommend Dr Kim. He has no compassion or bed-side manner. If you are fearful of dentists, Dr. Kim is not the dentist for you. Also, if you have an opinion of your own regarding your dental health, I would advise against expressing it. He sent me home with a full bore infection in my mouth and told me all I wanted was drugs. Defamation of character at the very least.
