Dr. Korotun has long experience which creates an atmosphere of confidence and security. Very knowledgeable and has pride in his work. Extremely detailed, takes time to discuss and explain until you are completely satisfied.

Dr. Korotun is my dentist for many years! He is very gentle, kind, and honest. He did many root canals for me which were painless. He is amazing with injections. He has also done crowns for me and I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with him. The office staff is very nice and welcoming. I give Dr. Korotun and East Side Smiles 5 stars - highly recommend!!!!!!!

I have an absolutely terrible fear of dentists. I legit shake in fear. As a result my dental health has been lackluster to say the least. I was introduced to Dr. Korotun from a friend’s recommendation and I can’t thank my friend enough. Dr K has taken away all my fears, anxiety and stress. He patiently explains what he will do, why he is doing it and expectation of how long it will last (drilling, filing whatever.). I can’t explain how grateful I am to have found him and my teeth have never been in better shape! Before I forget, when I spoke to the front desk, they took into consideration my fears and encouraged me to call with questions before my appointment. It was so reassuring knowing his staff also cares about my anxiety. Highly recommend Dr Korotun!

I had been a patient of Dr.Korotun for over 25 years. We had walked together everywhere from root canals to cosmetic restorations with everything in between. He is just wonderful in anything he does. Office staff is very nice and knowledgeable, there is never waiting time and I had recommended Dr. Korotun to numerous family members and friends- they all are glad I did. If there was a six star rating he definitely deserves it

My last dentist. Never look for another dentist in Manhattan.

Dr. Korotun did such terrible work that I had to pay over $6000 to have other dentists fix his work. When my tooth cracked, he fitted me for a crown that was clearly not the right size. He ended up sending me home in pain and I had to go back twice more. He ground down my natural tooth when I told him not to and caused so much trauma in my mouth that I had to get a root canal. He told me it was my fault because I grind my teeth. I clearly didn’t learn my lesson and went back to him with another cracked tooth. He did the same thing - I ended up needing two emergency procedures and a root canal because he did so much trauma to my mouth. He also filled over and active cavity and refused to refund my money even after I showed him how much the dental repair cost. I urge anyone reading this to find literally anyone else to be your dentist. Korotun should lose his license!

He filled my daughters teeth with the cavity still inside My daughter suffered tremendously with this teeth for a year She went back to him several times and he said nothing wrong with the teeth I am furious

ABSOLUTELY NOT!!! Angry, nasty man. Low quality work and cheap materials. Read all his reviews and past records before you choose. Please do no go to him. You will be sorry.

As awful an experience as my family has ever had with a Dr. He doesn’t listen to his patients and is driven by ego not solutions. He doesn’t know the limit of his expertise. He recommends solutions that are things he can do even if it’s not the right solution.

I went to see Dr. Korotun once for a cleaning and preventive care exam. My interaction with him was very brief. He hardly spoke to me and I felt he was rough in his exam. He told me I had three cavities which surprised me because I have not had any cavities for over 10 years and I have no symptoms. He left the room quickly after the exam and I did not have a chance to ask questions. I did not return to the office.

Dr. didn't listen, filling came off 3 days later. Above average expensive, below average service and work. Call ahead for prices and good luck if you choose to go, you'll need it.

Rough, did not listen when I said I needed sufficient anaesthetic and I was in considerable pain and distress as a result. Not trustworthy.

Very rude office staff, wanted to do 4 very expensive procedures that other dentists said weren't at all necessary on a beautiful set of teeth. Made my daughter with the great teeth wait an hour because he wanted payment up front for the unnecessary procedures. A scam artist and completely lacking any personality or warmth. Same goes for the awful woman at the desk.

Horrible root canal experience!!!! Never going back.
