Dr. Jacob Nichols, DMD

I think Dr. Nichols is kindest, most patient, caring and talented dentist in Maine. He works out of Portland and has been working on my teeth since 2020. By 2022, I kept having so many issues due to crowding and other areas that I needed to make a decision: either keep repeating the cycle forever of painful abscesses and expensive restorations or to fix everything for good. I needed an implant, root canals, braces, frenectomy, fillings, crowns, regular cleanings with fluoride and, of course, thorough daily home care, but I trusted him and I trusted the process. He was so understanding and non judgmental of me as a person in recovery. He put me in touch with a team of specialists in my area and he communicated so well through literal years of treatment, which finally finished in 2025. Dr. Nichols is one of the most compassionate men you will meet and you will be glad you trusted your care to him.
