Had a root canal done in his Wmspt office...fell asleep during the procedure, it was so relaxed. No kidding!!! My husband had a root canal in the State College office...didn't fall asleep, but it was an uneventful/good experience.

I have had mouth surgery, cavities galore, and various other dental health issues that have left me with a lot of fear surrounding dental procedures. Even just going to the office for a cleaning kicks up my heart rate. Dr. Pelka and his team were accommodating, kind, efficient, and so relaxing to be around that I refuse to let anyone else give me a root canal. 10/10 would recommend.

Dr. Pelka was very helpful by seeing me on a short notice. He was thorough, yet very gentle. He has a good sense of humor, which puts you at ease and I would recommend him without hesitation.

Dr Pelka and his staff are very friendly and helpful. I asked to be put on a first available list and they were able to get me in within 3 days. The procedure was done with minimal pain. Dr Pelka explained each step and was very precise and professional.

He was very professional, extremely kind and caring. I have anxiety with dentists and I was able to listen to music, I fell asleep during the procedure and he was done with the root canal in a matter of 25 or less min! Honestly if you need a root canal he is the one to go to! He was also willing to work around my neck brace so I didn't jar my neck since I had just had major neck surgery! Staff was kind and made you feel at ease! Took time to explain, and all were willing to answer any questions!

Very caring doctor. His practice is modern with great technology to make it painless.

Dr. Pelka is an absolute expert not only clinically, but with personal interactions with his patients (and staff). He really made the uncomfortable thought of having a root canal into a pain-free, efficient, and easily performed procedure.

Dr. Pelka and staff were wonderful. Made a terrible situation great. Couldn't ask for better care. Dr. Pelka was so respectful and treated his staff with respect also. Would recommend.

Fabulous experience!

I was very pleased with my visit. Especially considering a root canal is not one of the things in life we look forward to.

I'm almost 60 and haven't been to a Dentist for quite sometime but had a tooth act up about 2 months ago and I went to Dental and Dentures for an eval and they suspected a root canal would be needed for the tooth. They referred me to Dr. Pelka and with hesitation I scheduled an appointment. Being this would be my first root canal I was definitely nervous and with reservation went in to the app't. I watched my daughter when she was 10 get a root canal and I thought back then which was 18yrs ago that no way would I be able to go through that. Once Dr. Pelka came in he explained everything and did his preliminary and confirmed the tooth needed root canal. After the numbing was affective he proceeded and through the whole process I didn't feel anything. The worst part is the numbing itself but after that no feeling. Through the whole process they made sure I was fine and made it a pleasant experience. Dr. Pelka and his staff did a fantastic job and I certainly would go back if needed.

First of dentists give me anxiety but let me tell you from the time Dr Pelka sat down and explained everything single step he was taking for my root canal i felt at ease and I had INSTANT relief. Such an amazing dentist and staff I’d gladly refer anyone to him for your major needs. I’ve never been happier with how fast my appointment was, how they were all friendly once I walked in the door and my overall experience was better than anticipated.

Dr. Pelka is an exceptional person. He is not only very skilled, but he has excellent bedside manner. He has the latest technology and explains everything using his computer graphics. He and his assistants put patients at ease and are very warm, yet professional. Dr. Pelka is sensitive to the patient feeling pain. I felt none! I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Having a horrible gag reflex, I hate going to the dentist and a root canal - oh my!! But my experience was a fantastic one! Thank You, Dr. Pelka!

My experience was top notch, even relaxing, and that's saying something because I had a root canal! Every single person in this office is super kind and helpful. Dr Pelka is extraordinary. It was well worth the 2.5 hour drive!

Staff and Dr. Pelka were great but the charge was extremely high for the root canal particularly not being told this didn't include the crown which would cost another $1000.00!! Should have had the tooth pulled this is extremely high when you have to pay out of pocket! I would not recommend, if you don't have dental insurance It will take 4 months of my social security to pay for this. This isn't for low income people!!
