Dr. James Diperna, DMD

I have been a patient for four years and have recruited my son and grandson to the practice. The entire staff is professional and compassionate. I initially followed my dental hygienist, Patti, there for her excellent and thorough cleanings. I developed a tooth abscess. Dr Diperna saw me immediately. He has the latest technology especially in X-ray equipment. He called one of his colleagues and got me an appointment in one day for a root canal after the infection cleared. Dr Diperna is the very best in his profession and he goes above and beyond for his patients.

Four teeth extracted and prepared for implants. Dr. DiPerna is skillful and always concerned about the patient. Never rushed. Very thorough. Called me at home tonight to check on my welfare. Would highly recommend! John K.

Dr. Diperna is absolutely Impeccable! I strongly believe that Dr. Diperna is the Best Periodontist in Allegheny County. I’ve worked as a Dental Assistant for 29 years so I am very knowledgeable in the field of Dentistry. After 3 consultations with different Periodontists I chose Dr. Diperna do my surgeries. I recently had a bone graft, surgical placement of implant and extensive gum tissue grafting. I had a very difficult case. I was anxious before my surgery. Dr. Diperna is so gentle that I was immediately relaxed. The results from my dental surgeries are absolutely Perfect! I am so happy with my smile. Dr. Diperna and his staff truly care about their patients.

I attempted to get a second opinion from Dr DiPerna on the necessity of gum surgery and he refused to see me. The office informed me that I had not been compliant with DiPerna’s recommendations in the past - which is totally true. I’m a busy mom taking my kids to all of their pediatrician, dentist, and orthodontist appts and neglected my own care. I explained this to his office but they still treated me like I was a drug addict asking for opioids.

Dr DiPerna was very thorough. He explains your care plan and reasons why one procedure is needed versus a different one. He is also compassionate and has options for those of us that are VERY NERVOUS having dental procedures. The staff is personable and professional. They explain the entire process as easy (and painless) as possible.

Dr DiPerna and staff are friendly and caring. My procedure was explained thoroughly and I knew what to expect. I especially appreciated the check in call later in the day of my prcedure. I highly recommend Dr. DiPerna.

Dr DiPerna made my surgery easier to handle by explaining each procedure, step by step, before he performed it. He’s caring, genuine, thorough, gentle, and professional. I think he’s very deserving of the 5 stars I gave him!

I have had several implants completed by Dr. DiPerna over the past 14 years. He is always thorough in his explanations of the treatment needed and he and all the staff in the office are courteous and caring. I have had good outcomes with all of the oral surgeries that I have needed and the follow up care is excellent as well.

Dr DiPerna is simply the best. I have unfortunately worked with numerous periodontists in my 60 years, and Dr. DiPerna combines techical excellence, manual dexterity, intelligence and a professional and caring disposition in a manner that is rare. His office and staff are excellent. All the work he has done for me (three implants) has bern excellent. Finally, Dr. DiPerna collabotates and communicates well with my general dentist and endodontist and serves as my quarterback for dental needs.

Excellent care and post procedural care. Great staff. Very skilled surgeon. From start to finish, could not of been in better hands. Highly recommend.
