Dr. James Dong, DDS

I've only been there once, but I liked him. He was recommended by my physician. He is not a bells and whistles guy. You won't see framed pictures of before-and-after teeth around the room. He seems to be focused on dental care rather than dental frills. Because he gives you a thorough cleaning, he really gets to know your teeth and gums, not just a once-over look-see. And he considers what you have to say.

Dr. Dong is fantastic. We've been seeing him for two decades and l trust him with everything, as do all the friends we have referred to him. If you want someone with a swank office who will push all sorts of unnecessary treatments on you to earn extra profits, this is not your guy. But if you want an honest, knowledgable and talented dentist, then this is your man. His prices are incredibly reasonable and he does terrific work. He is also interensting to talk to. This is a man who came in at short notice on a saturday to treat my mom, who was visiting from out of state and had a dental emergency. She was not his patient, and he charged her almost nothing --that is how conscientious he is. Don't look any further--this is a top-notch dentist!

Dr. Dong runs a small practice. He provides excellent care. He does not push unnecessary treatments. He is sensitive to people with anxiety about dental procedures, and willing to work out payment options for people who need care but who may not have good insurance coverage. I've sent many people to him in the decades that I have been a patient.
