won't service pregnant women
11 years ago I went here early in my second trimester, because dental work IS needed in pregnancy. Neglecting it is what starts early labor. Nevertheless, after the cleaning he identified cavities but they told me to come back after I had my baby. I asked my OB-GYN and she said it was nonsense. She wrote me a letter and they let me make another appointment with them. When I got in the chair he informed me my cavities werent that bad, he didnt wanna open it up yet, and told me to go have my baby and come back again. I pointed out my OB-GYN's letter. Suddenly the reason was my insurance not covering the fillings. I called later and my insurance confirmed that this was not effective for another 4 days and he could have filled my cavities. The real reason is he didnt want the liability of working on a pregnant woman. If that is his reason the least he can do is save me a trip and be straight with me that the reason is NOT my insurance but my pregnancy.
