Dr. Lee was unorganized, unprepared, and rude at my appointments with him at The Dental Specialists. I eventually discontinued my care with him, despite the thousands of dollars spent on appointments that resulted in no dental work.I suspect that Dr. Lee behaved poorly because he did not agree with the plan that a previous doctor at TDS (she left the practice) had created for me. Despite my willingness to consider his plan for services, he did not provide me updated documentation of his preferred plan nor did his demeanor improve. His lack of all-around professionalism delayed implementation of the process--I take full blame for my responsibility in some delays--and ultimately made me decide to take my needs elsewhere.Dr. Lee may be incredibly talented and knowledgeable, but it does not excuse his poor chairside manner. I have never in all of my years of dental care and procedures had such a negative experience as with him. I will not miss his often-proclaimed flip comment, 'We

Loved him. He was so knowledgeable and so professional. He answered all of our questions and took time doing so. So very thorough. My fears are over. I feel confident with Dr. Lee.

Dr James Lee helped me after another dental office made mistakes and hurt me. I didn’t know if anyone could help. I saw another Prosthodontist in the office where Dr. Lee sees patients, and was disappointed. I was afraid the first time I saw Dr. Lee. When I first heard him explaining my care plan, I heard his British Accent. My first thought was he could have talked me into anything. Dr. Lee and his staff always treated me with respect. They gave sunglasses to wear before they turned the light on. They always did their best for me. Because of health issues, I missed a few appointments. I was not shamed or punished. I learned about the best way to care for my mouth. I was sad for my last appointment. I received my first set of Dentures and found I still have things to learn about where I chew.
