Dr Mikula is aware of my unnatural fear of a Dentist and why I have these fears. Since my first meeting with him after he took over from Dr. Kelly, he has always put me at ease by explaining calmly and patiently exactly what he would be doing and why he would be doing it. Because of him, I have progressed to the point that I no longer need nitro oxide to calm me down. I jokingly told him in our first meeting that I would let him hurt me 2 times and then I would punch him. 32 years later and still waiting for the first time to happen
