Dr. James Otten, DDS

Dr. Otten and his staff were extremely professional and knowledgeable. I was looking for a provider who could help me decide if Invisalign is a good option for me. I really liked that they are putting patient safety first during the pandemic. The initial consult was offered as a zoom visit, and I decided to move forward and take the next step to come in for an in- office exam. Their office procedures put me at ease so I felt extremely safe during my visit. The comprehensive exam was great - Dr. Otten was extremely thorough and explained all the different potential causes of my jaw and teeth alignment issues. I left feeling well informed in choosing the path forward for my treatment. I would recommend Dr. Otten to anyone.

I was so happy when someone suggested that I should go see Dr. Otten. The dentist that I had been going to for years was always in a rush and never had an answer to my questions. His usual response was “I don’t know what to tell you.” The problem was he had made a faulty splint that I wore at night. I ended up with TMJ and a molar that was broken in three places. I also had to have veneers on my front teeth. The veneers were terrible looking but I was told that was how they had to be. I never wanted my picture taken. I was self conscious about them and I wouldn’t smile. When I went to Dr. Otten he listened to what my concerns were. He made a splint that was fit for my mouth which made a big difference. Best of all, he made new veneers for my front teeth. Now I can walk into a room and smile and not be self conscious. His staff is excellent. They care about you as a person, which means a lot to me.

Dr. Otten has been my dentist for 30 years. I needed 5 bridges because permanent teeth were missing. He put in the first bridge 30 years ago and the fifth 20 years ago. I read that bridges last around 15 years. If my bridges lasted only 15 years, by now I would have needed 5 or 6 replacements. But I needed only one. He has saved me a lot of time in the dentist's chair & a lot of money. And the bridges he put in look really good. I highly recommend him. Also Debbie, his hygienist is excellent.

Friendly and enthusiastic group that demonstrates a concern for their patient's dental health and cares for the patient's overall well-being. They are much more than just a Dentist. I always feel that I am important to them and that they are happy to see me.

I was able to see him quickly. His support staff was excellent. His assistant Debbie has a wonderful touch. The office is clean and professional in appearance. His demeanor was professional, assured and thoughtful.
