Bad experience. Dr. Penney and staff are uncaring.
I was referred for a root canal. After the X-ray and exam I became very dizzy. I told Dr. Penney I thought I should wait and he insisted that I go ahead. After the root canal I could not even walk. He said to sit for a bit. I sat for about 30 minutes and finally I held to the wall to get to the desk. I had to ask for assistance to get to my car. Two nurses took me to my car on a 100 degree car and left me. I was 100 miles from home and had to wait for more than 2 hours for family to come pick me up. Everyone one in the office including the doctor left for the day leaving me sitting in my car, incapacitated. I had to go to the ER that night because of Dr. Penney's actions. This doctor and his staff had no concern for me. It would have been all the same if I had a heat stroke or died on their parking lot. DO NOT USE THIS DENTIST.

Came in for a second opinion. After an exam he explain in layman’s terms what o needed . Which did not include him . Also there was another well know Dr in the waiting room which told me I had the right Endodonist.

Not for me
Did not stop talking about himself long enough to listen to my dental needs. Wanted to charge me twice what anyone else quoted me, despite the fact that I have stellar insurance. His whole office has an ego and does not look to sincerely care for the souls that need help. I can’t believe i paid for his “consultation.” I found real care elsewhere.

I will never return to this man for medical care. I had to go back the next day (a weekend) for more work because the pain was so bad after the first root canal attempt. He loves to talk about women and how much they love him. He couldn’t stop talking about my dentist being good-looking as well as some other dentist that he got to hang out with at a medical conference while his wife was at home. The whole experience was extremely sexist and distasteful. When I went back on the weekend for additional work, he brought me in through a back door and there was a gun just lying out on his desk. Incredibly unprofessional. I’ve never been around a man so into himself and I just needed a root canal.

I had a horrible experience with this Dr. I found him quite offensive PLUS I was left bleeding in the waiting room after an extraction and spitting blood in the bathroom to keep from vomiting while trying to pay my copay before driving myself home.
